I. Homecoming Weekend – August 6th-8th, 2021
Friday, August 6th:
On Friday evening, a choir from our congregation will perform at 7 p.m., followed by refreshments.
Saturday, August 7th:
On Saturday morning there will be two historical lectures and an exhibition at the church. We look forward to having Professor David Whitla (Church History Professor from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh) speak at 9:30 a.m. on the history of the Covenanters, and Pastor James Faris (Second Indianapolis RPC) speak at 11 a.m. on his ancestor, the first minister of Bloomington Reformed Presbyterian Church – the Rev. James Faris.
In the afternoon, some of our young people will lead storytelling tours at the Covenanter Cemetery (at the corner of High and Hillside streets), with scavenger hunts for children. These tours run from 1-3 p.m.
Sunday, August 8th:
On the Lord’s Day, we will gather to worship God together at 10:45 a.m., followed by lunch in families’ homes.
